Pickup and departure from Leticia
At 7:00 a.m. we pick you up at your hotel in Leticia and take you to the port, where the boat and your guide are waiting.
We head up the Amazon River. On the way to the island the first pink dolphins can already show up.

Monkey Island (Isla de los Micos)
We reach the island around 8:00 a.m., home to wild squirrel monkeys that live free, not in captivity. They come to you on their own and often climb onto your shoulders; nobody forces them and they are no longer fed bananas.
After that we walk through a forest of giant trees. The island entrance is included.

Pink and grey dolphins
On the way back down the river we look for pink and grey river dolphins. When they appear, we stop to watch them come up to breathe.

Puerto Alegría (Peru)
In Puerto Alegría, a community on the Peruvian side, we learn a little about its culture and you can buy local crafts.
